Privacy Policy — StayTracker Pro – Travel Days Tracker

Synapseone Solutions (“Synapseone”, “we”, “us”) provides the StayTracker Pro – Travel Days Tracker mobile application (“App”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

1) Information we collect

A. Account information (optional)
If you choose to create an account or sign in (e.g., email/password, Google, Microsoft, Facebook), we may collect:

  • Email address
  • User ID provided by the authentication provider
  • Basic profile information returned by the provider (for example, name or profile picture if available)

B. Travel log data
If you use the App to log stays, we collect the information you enter, such as:

  • Country and city
  • Start date and end date
  • Purpose (work/leisure)
  • Notes you add (optional)

C. Location data (optional)
If you tap location features (e.g., “Use my location” / “Center on my location”), the App may request permission to access your device location to determine your current country/city and/or to place a “my location” pin.
We do not continuously track your location in the background.

D. Device and app data
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate the App, such as:

  • App version
  • Device/OS information
  • Crash and performance diagnostics (if enabled by your platform)

2) How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the App features (travel totals, timeline, maps, calendar views)
  • Sync your data across devices if you sign in
  • Improve reliability and fix issues (e.g., debugging crashes)
  • Communicate with you about account actions (e.g., email verification) if you use email sign‑in

3) Where your data is stored

  • The App can work “local‑first” (data stored on your device).
  • If you sign in, your data may be stored and synced using our backend service provider (Supabase) to enable cross‑device syncing.

4) Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

  • With service providers used to run the App (e.g., authentication and database services)
  • When required by law, regulation, or to protect safety and security

5) Data retention

  • If you use the App without signing in, your data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
  • If you create an account, we retain your synced data until you delete it, delete your account, or request deletion.

6) Your choices

You can:

  • Use the App without enabling location features
  • Revoke location permission anytime in device settings
  • Request deletion of your account and synced data (see “Data Deletion” page)
  • Delete local data in the App (Reset option) or by uninstalling

7) Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum legal age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8) International users

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you understand your information may be transferred and processed internationally.
